In the last episode, Adam, who seems out of the woods, goes to dinner with Jimmy Baxter and his daughter Fia (Lilli Kay), whom he has fallen in love with. But Eugene (Benjamin Flores Jr.), the younger brother of Kofi Jones whom Michael Desiato has tricked into making him guilty of the accident, has been enlisted by a gang and wants revenge on Carlo Baxter, the eldest son of the Mafioso who killed Kofi in prison. If Your Honor was announced as a mini-series, it should be noted that it is adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, which was entitled to two seasons.

Skip Bolen / SHOWTIME

In an interview for Deadline, showrunner Peter Moffat has indicated he has ideas for a sequel but that doesn’t necessarily mean Season 2 will take place: “What kind of a screenwriter would you be if you spent two years working on a project and writing 10 hours of TV and didn’t think about what would happen if there was Episode 11 and even the You’d be a weird human being if you were able to just drop everything after 10 hours. So of course I thought about a sequel and I have several hundred great ideas but it’s mostly a factual description of the situation in my head “. And when Deadline asked him if he had anything concrete in mind, Peter Moffat’s answer is final, it’s no.

Your Honor received many positive reviews throughout its broadcast on Showtime in the United States and on CANAL + in France. Bryan Cranston’s performance drew great attention as he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Miniseries. The success of Your Honor could make Showtime want to renew the series for a second season, but it is still necessary that Peter Moffat and Bryan Cranston wish to take part. But it seems more likely that this thriller will stick to its one and only season, for now.
