Verizon outage reported having widespread impact on many areas of the US

You’re not the only one experiencing problems if you are a Verizon customer. Verizon isn’t working in many areas of the US.
Affected users have taken Twitter and Downdetector to report problems with both cellular and internet services.
“Completely out” in Woodbury. Straight talk phones with Verizon SIM (aka towers)” a user reports. Another user says, “Nothing in Kingston Hurley.”
New York City, Philadelphia and Newburgh are some of the most affected areas.
The company hasn’t officially acknowledged the problem but Verizon Support on Twitter is directing complaints to the team. For tips and tricks on how to handle an outage, it asks people to visit this support page.
