SABINE WAS QUESTIONS ABOUT HER RELATIONSHIP WITH DIMITRI
Once she has done her jogging, Sabine returns home to have breakfast with her son who is happy to see his mother trying to clear her mind. Soon after, she apologizes to him for not being there for him lately and thanks him for supporting her while also considering herself lucky to have her in her life.
Meanwhile, Dimitri offers his daughter to spend a week in the Pyrenees for the holidays, but she refuses. No longer supporting Billie’s thoughts, Dimitri loses his temper and yells that it’s not his fault his mother is dead. Subsequently, Dimitri meets Sabine in court to sign the last minutes of the investigation.
As the father invites him for a coffee, Sabine replies that their story is over and that they have nothing more to say to each other. She then finds Johanna to whom she confides that she blames herself for being so dry with Dimitri. For the lawyer, she must live this story if this is what she wants but Sabine retorts that it is not so simple.
A short distance away, Billie is with her father on the tennis court to shoot a few balls. When she offers to go shopping for dinner, he is particularly cold with her. At nightfall, Sabine joins Dimitri at the end of her work, with a smile on her face.
LILA’S DEATH INQUIRY MOVING SLOWLY
At the police station, Manu and his team managed to trace the route of Lila and her two attackers thanks to various testimonies. For his part, Becker received the results of the autopsy report. If no sexual assault was noted, the wound on the back of the victim’s skull comes from an impact with one of the pillars of the dock. Even though the young woman may have accidentally fallen, Manu thinks it looks more like manslaughter linked to an argument that could have escalated.
Later, Mo shows up at the police station to testify. The mother then recounts the scene she attended and specifies that the two young men were discussing a student party. A new track that Manu decides to dig.
Mo then goes to the roommate and reports to Maryline that she blames herself for not having intervened to help Lila. Indeed, she admits that she was completely paralyzed in the face of the situation. Although Maryline assures him that she has nothing to do with it, Mo cannot help judging himself to be a coward for having been afraid.
Insofar as this story brings back bad memories to her, Maryline hugs her to comfort her. At the same time, Antonin tells Arthur and Anissa that he would have liked to intervene to save Lila. According to Anissa, he could not have done anything but the teenager is convinced otherwise.
At the end of the day, Lucille explains to Akim that her boss asked her to write an article on the Marquant affair. The police officer does not intend to give him key information on the ongoing investigation but nevertheless reveals that Maryline is the main witness.
At Les Sauvages, David discusses Lila’s disappearance with Claire and Sofia. While Claire tries to understand why he is interested in this case, David pretends to do like everyone else and hopes that the stalkers will be quickly arrested. In the evening, David tries to call the police for help from his car but changes his mind at the last minute.
