CHRISTOPHER MAKES A DECISION
Christophe has scheduled Patrice’s operation for the evening at his office and therefore tells his partner that he will be home late. While she consults the file on drug trafficking, he sees the photos of Franck and Patrice and tries to find out who they are. Cécile then replies that it is most likely those responsible for the assassinations.
For her part, Johanna receives Eva in her office, who swears to her that her husband is innocent. Unfortunately, this is not the opinion of Johanna. For her, the longer this run, the more it plays against him because it sounds like an admission of guilt in the eyes of the police. Despite everything, Eva maintains her version of the facts and asks her lawyer to do her job by making sure that the police stop monitoring her. Although she agrees, Johanna feels that her client is not telling her everything.
Later, Thierry and Aya follow Eva after work. Unfortunately, the latter ends up losing them in a shopping center and joins Patrice and Franck at the hideout. As she will have to manage her affairs for some time, Patrice asks her not to be noticed.
At the police station, Commissioner Becker takes stock of the investigation with his teams. Since a large shipment of cannabis is supposed to be delivered next week, the commissioner orders Thierry and Élise to continue monitoring Eva’s shop.
During this time, Christophe used the prescriptions stolen from Doctor Alphand to obtain the drugs necessary for Patrice’s operation. After giving Charles a few days off, the veterinarian prepares the equipment necessary for his intervention. Looking at a box of sutures, Christophe tells himself that everything must stop.
MARC LIES TO HIS FATHER
At the hospital, Doctor Lewis gives rather reassuring news to Marc and Louis. In fact, Jacques woke up and a priori has no sequelae at the cognitive or motor level. Since he doesn’t seem to be suffering from amnesia, he could be out in a few days if all goes well.
Subsequently, Marc and Louis go to the bedside of Jacques who apologizes for having done anything wrong. For Marc, all that matters is that he makes a full recovery and is with them. However, Jacques feels guilty for having created problems for Myriam and even hopes that she will forgive him one day. In order to avoid an emotional shock to her, Marc is then forced to lie to her by telling her that everything is fine.
After dropping off his son at the tennis club, Marc calls the future owner of the farm to inform her that his father has woken up. It is therefore now up to Jacques to decide on the sale and things could well take longer than expected.
Not far from there, Léonor tries to have a conversation with her son. Unfortunately, he is cold and distant with her. Once he told her that she was no longer part of the family in his eyes, he forbade her from going to see her grandfather.
Shortly after, Louis calls Kira and tells her that Jacques is out of the coma. Although she is happy for him, the young woman is rather cold so much so that she refuses to accompany him to the cinema in the evening. Indeed, the teenager is convinced that Louis does not share her feelings and decides not to spend any more time with him. Seeing that she is depressed, Claire then offers her to spend a girls’ evening to change her mind.
At the end of the day, Léonor visits Jacques in the hospital. Insofar as it is because of her that he wanted to end his life, she asks his forgiveness. However, Jacques does not hold it against him. He was so desperate at that time that he probably would have tried to kill himself.
