Eliott investigates the theft of paintings
After spending the night with Eve, Manu is called by Elise to go to the scene of a burglary that went wrong: the keeper of the estate, having surprised the intruder, was murdered with a stabbing weapon. Questioned by Elise, the owner of the premises declares that around thirty old canvases have been stolen from him, for a sum of one million euros.
Reading the newspaper, José, the receiver, discovers that there was a murder during the robbery. He then blames Philippe, his accomplice in charge of the theft of paintings, for having lost control of the situation and fears having the police on his tail. But Philippe, unperturbed, wants to recover his share of the winnings. José offers to help him find a stash for the paintings while waiting for the affair to settle down, and promises to pay him in due time.
Meanwhile, Eliott, recovered thanks to Charles’s support, gets rid of his last drugs. He is then contacted by Bertier, who asks him to obtain information on a theft of paintings from the various receivers in Montpellier. The prosecutor insists that he obtain results because of the murder that has been committed.
To Charles’s surprise, Eliott accepts the mission and takes José in spinning. He observes the man going to the campsite and asking Virgil to ask him to keep his car for him for several days. While Virgil refuses, José threatens him to tell the police that he helped Elsa hide when she was on the run.
Having witnessed the scene, Eliott then goes to visit José and pretends to ask him if he has a plan for him. The receiver then reveals to him that his business is going badly, and that he risks being unmasked and can no longer make him work. Eliott then offers to carry out some burglaries on his behalf, and José promises to let him know if necessary.
Anissa worries about her family
At the hospital, Yasmine is contacted by Bruce who asks her to go to Nîmes to drop off the package he gave her the day before, and her request is not negotiable.
Meanwhile, Anissa goes to jail to see her brother Driss in the visiting room. She confesses to him that she is worried about her mother and suspects that something serious is happening. Driss then reveals to him that his mother is paying Erwan to ensure his protection in prison, and thinks he is asking more of her now. He warns Anissa that their mother should definitely not do business with the dealer because they will never leave her alone.
Anissa then contacts her mother and asks her to tell her the truth about her arrangement with Driss, saying that her brother told her everything. Yasmine tries to reassure her daughter by telling her that she is in control of the situation, then goes to Nîmes to deliver the package for Bruce.
In the distance, Leo is watching the transaction. He then receives a text from Anissa who asks to see him. As they reunite, Anissa confides in Leo that she is worried about her mother and her brother, and fears that they have entered a dead end.
For his part, Gérald fears that Yasmine has fallen into an endless gear; but Yasmine fears what could happen to Driss in prison if she stops riding, and Marvin’s men stop protecting him.
