MAUREILLAS MAKES ELIZABETH SING
In the morning, Maureillas asks Elizabeth to give up demanding that he donate money to charities and to give her the option to buy Diagno Intel for a symbolic euro. When Fanny declares to have unearthed compromising files on shell companies domiciled in the Cayman Islands which could interest the French tax authorities, Maureillas threatens to pass everything on to the press if she were to refuse her deal. During this time, Florent offers his partner to go for a romantic weekend in order to meet again. The nurse is very excited by this idea but receives a call from Elizabeth who asks her to join her at her office as soon as possible. On the spot, Claire admits that Maureillas blackmailed her without being able to tell her more. Furious, Théo’s grandmother kicks her outside. Afterwards, Myriam informs Claire that Maureillas has put pressure on her to have dinner with her again. Even if her friend does not care that the police go back to her, Myriam does not intend to lose everything when she is on the verge of achieving her ends. Shortly after, Claire, who is on edge, takes her duty at the hospital. When Joshua asks her about what’s wrong, Theo’s mother insists that he stop texting her and forget about her. As he is worried about her, the doctor asks Alain to let him know if Claire comes to confide in him. At the end of the day, Myriam goes to Maureillas. While the young woman is about to leave, the swindler says that he is going to get very rich and that he really wants to change his life. A statement that pushes Myriam to stay.
CHRISTOPHE IDENTIFIES THE GUILTY
Her husband being impatient to go to Lisbon, Cécile promises to pick him up at the hospital after his reconstitution. At the Palais de Justice, she receives a visit from Sophie Guérin, a journalist from France Bleu Hérault who seems to have a lot of information on what she is about to do with Max. But Cécile excludes evoking an ongoing investigation and slams the door in his face. The judge then telephones Christophe to warn him that a journalist is taking a close interest in his case and then asks him to respect the secrecy of the investigation if the latter tries to question him. Later, Elise reports to Becker and Judge Alphand that the computer company of Antoine Jacquemin, the nephew of the deceased, is in liquidation. Insofar as he had every interest in her aunt’s disappearance, Cécile hopes that the reconstruction will provide them with answers. During this, Max seems nervous but quickly regains his composure as the deceased’s home aide approaches him. And when the victim’s nephew advances in turn, the dog jumps on him affectionately. In the absence of convincing evidence, Cécile returns to her office and calls her husband to tell him that she will meet him directly at the airport. However, when leaving her office, Cécile meets Christophe who urges her to watch the video of the reconstruction because, according to him, Max would have designated the real culprit.
