Truth Seekers Trailer: A Paranormal Comedy on Amazon for Halloween

Amazon Prime Video today unveils the trailer for its original British series, “Truth Seekers”. A horrific comedy that hits the streaming platform at the end of October to make your Halloween even more spooky.

Announced two years ago, the series by British duo Nick Frost and Simon Pegg finally has a release date: Truth Seekers will therefore arrive on October 30 on Amazon Prime Video, just in time for Halloween.

To this announcement is added a first scary and offbeat trailer that plunges us into the unusual daily life of paranormal investigators. Gus (Nick Frost) and Elton (Samson Kayo), seemingly simple fiber-optic installers, actually spend their time filming ghost appearances across the UK and sharing them on social media.

From a haunted church to an abandoned hospital, via an underground bunker, the fine team connects supernatural experiences over the eight episodes that make up the series. If the story begins modestly, things get more complicated for our heroes who see the paranormal incidents multiplying dangerously, until they discover that a strange conspiracy could well cause the Apocalypse …

Expected for release in over 240 countries, Truth Seeker takes us into a mysterious world, filled with monsters and evil spirits. Add to that a good dose of action and humor, and we find the atypical mix of styles that revealed the actor duo: the horror comedy. Fans of Shaun of the Dead will be delighted.

The full series hits Amazon’s Prime Video service the day before Halloween.
