No matter how much we fade away from series all day long (well I’m speaking for you, yes you there behind your desk who thought you were masturbating and you finally found yourself reading a top), the names of characters do not always remain engraved in our memory. And for good reason, if in life it is already not easy to remember the first name AND the last name of all your friends (especially when you have like 3), it is even less so for the characters. Fortunately, the scriptwriters are nice and sometimes took a big sting out of us by failing to give their characters a surname. Phew.
1. Penny in Big Bang Theory
Table of Contents
The character of Penny is not only a silly cartoonish blonde to the last degree, she is above all a character without a last name unlike all the other characters in the series. Proof that we really weren’t going to rack our brains too hard on this nunuche character.

2. Malcolm in himself
If Malcolm has a family, he doesn’t have a last name. Just like each character member of his family. Which is quite logical, otherwise we would have quickly understood that Malcolm has the same name as his brother. But no. There is nothing. No. Waloo.

3. Spike and Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Well, maybe it has to do with the fact that they’re vampires, and vampires don’t really have family name because the guys are so centuries old that they were born in a time when we were called “chair bar” or “fork” and that’s it.

4. Spock in Star Trek
Emblematic character of the series whose last name was blown up, it should however be remembered that this good old Spock comes from the planet Vulcan, so certainly his daronne was human (which naturally explains his attractive physique) but anyway he was born in 2230, and it goes without saying that we won’t have a surname until then.

5. Michonne in The Walking Dead
But this certainly has nothing to do with Glenn’s death. OUSP.

6. Kramer in Seinfeld
Good with Kramer we cheat a little, since the fans of the series will know that Kramer is none other than the last name of Kramer whose first name “Cosmo” we rather forgot. But he is above all the best series character of all time. At least.

7. Columbo in himself
Sacred cult character that this Columbo interpreted by Peter Falk. It should be noted, however, that the inspector is never mentioned other than by this surname. However, it would seem that the character is called “Frank” since this first name can be seen on his business card in episode 5, but this is in no way a scriptwriting desire. In short, as it were “My wife always tells me…”

8. Bubbles in The Wire
One of the best characters in the series TheWireBubbles interprets a heroin addict there and it will be necessary to wait for the fourth season before learning that his last name is “Mr. Cousins” and the fifth finally to obtain his first name “Reginald”.

9. Bronn in GoT
One of Tyron Lannister’s only buddies, Bronn surely doesn’t have a name since he comes from a very low class. For it is well known, the lower classes in Game Of Thrones don’t have a last name.

10. Kermit the Frog
But then damn is it because it’s a frog, right? He’s a frog so we dropped the case on his last name, right? Because frogs are not allowed to have families? I’m just shocked and disappointed.

At the same time, wouldn’t life just be better without a last name?
