1. Kawakanih Yawalapiti, 9 years old, Mato GrossO, Brazil

Photograph taken on August 19, 2018 in the Yawalapiti tribe which is located within the Xingu National Park, a preserved Amazon area. In the Kawakanih diet, there are fish, tapioca, fruits and nuts. Everything to make an express meal in 5 minutes!

2. Anchal Sahani, 10, Mumbai, India

Picture taken March 11, 2017. Anchal comes from a very poor background, her father earns $5 a day just enough to feed the family with lentil dishes. She can’t go to school because she only has to take care of her baby brother.

Yes well what, I did not tell you that it would be a top 100% sponsored by joy.

4. Ademilson Francisco Dos Santos, 11, Goiás, Brazil

Photograph taken August 19, 2018. The community of Ademilson is home to 300 families in the mountains. The nearest town is 200 km away. He lives without electricity or running water. Ademilson is the youngest in a family of 7 children and goes to school every day (which is an hour’s walk from his home). His farming parents grow sweet potatoes, beans, oranges, lemons, watermelon, coffee, cane sugar and a host of local fruits. Suffice to say that her meals almost look like an Instagrammer’s morning routine.

6. Hank Segal, 8, California

Photograph taken January 30, 2016. Hank lives in the mountainous regions surrounding Los Angeles. His parents grow cherry tomatoes, artichokes, spinach, thyme and basil. Suffice to say that his diet is rather varied and perhaps not the most representative of the breakfasts of young Americans.

9. Rosalie Durand, 10, Nice, France

Photograph taken August 18, 2017. Since her parents separated, Rosalie lives half the time with her mother and the other half with her father. His diet is mainly based on fish, thanks to his father who is a restaurant owner. She knows how to make pancakes and lentil salads on her own like a grown-up, unlike me, which pushes me to ask myself the question of the meaning of my life on this earth.

10. June Grosser, 8, Hamburg, Germany

Photograph taken on August 11, 2017. And that I stick you schnitzels and other pretzels at every meal! But imagine that strangely, June also starts to like broccoli, which is immediately much rarer. That said, if you’re struggling to get your kids to eat broccoli, we’ve got the vegetables kids hate except in the form of fries.
