Tomorrow belongs to us: William’s mother (Kamel Belghazi) will land in the series on TV

Catherine Jacob (“Life is a long quiet river”, “Tatie Danielle”) joins the cast of “Tomorrow belongs to us” in the role of Brigitte, the mother of William Daunier. She is slated to make her first appearance on the air in July.

Recently at the heart of the intrigue “L’incruste”, during which they saw strangers take possession of their apartment, William (Kamel Belghazi), Aurore (Julie Debazac), Sofia (Emma Smet) and Manon (Louvia Bachelier) go soon to be entitled to a more family ark in Tomorrow belongs to us, which will be marked by the arrival of new faces.

While we learned yesterday of the departure of Linda Hardy after three years spent in the skin of Clémentine Doucet, Puremedias reveals that the actress Catherine Jacob joins the cast of the daily TF1 soap opera in the role of Brigitte, who is none other than the mother of William Daunier.

Obviously known for her many roles in the cinema, from Life is a long quiet river in Dikkenek, via Auntie Danielle, I am hungry, or Les Braqueuses, Catherine Jacob has been multiplying the projects on the small screen for some time since we recently saw her in the Les Copains Première, Mongeville and Cassandre series, as well as in the Hortense and 100% organic TV films.

Still according to our colleagues, it is on May 19 that she will take her first steps on the film sets in Sète. And Catherine Jacob will not be the only one to join the ranks of the Daunier family in the coming months since Patrick Guérineau (Camping Paradis) will also participate in this next arch in the role of Etienne, William’s brother-in-law. While the influencer Rayane Huber will play Dorian, the son of the latter, and therefore cousin of Sofia and Manon.

No other information on the character of Brigitte has yet been communicated, but Catherine Jacob should, logically, make her first appearance on the air in July on TF1.

According to Puremedias, the arrival of such a popular actress in Demain Belongs to Us is part of the desire of the “revitalize the soap by renewing its cast in particular, which should grow even more in the coming weeks”.

Indeed, with 3.6 million viewers on average and a market share of 16.9% in watch audience for the whole month of January, Tomorrow belongs to us suffers somewhat from the comparison with Here everything begins, on the plan of the hearings as on that of the intrigues.

For its part, the culinary soap opera carried by Clément Rémiens and Vanessa Demouy has been showing signs of green since its launch last November and again achieved a record audience on April 1 with 22.5% of four-year-olds and over, and 31 , 7% of women responsible for purchases under 50 (FRDA-50), priority target of advertisers.
