ULYSSES MULTIPLIES PANIC ATTACKS
Georges avoided the worst and his condition is now stabilized. Unable to comment on possible sequelae, Doctor Dumaze wishes to carefully monitor his patient’s motor skills for a few days. While Victoire blames herself, Renaud recalls that he would never have survived without her operating. Later, Georges is awake and wonders if he will remain fragile all his life. Victoire assures her that her functional consequences will eventually dissipate, then the police officer thanks her for saving his life. For his part, Ulysses returns home but quickly has an attack of claustrophobia before Amanda manages to calm him down. When the police station calls him for a summons during the day, Amanda insists that he does not take all the responsibility for the excursion on his shoulders. At the station, Martin warns Ulysses that he risks one year in prison for endangering the lives of others. The young man, who is not well, begs the policeman to let him out but Martin refuses. Shortly after, he remembers images of the cave collapse and then collapses to the ground unconscious. Transported to the hospital, Amanda accuses Commander Constant of being responsible for Ulysses’ condition. However, Martin is certain that the server has faked a seizure and is ready to question him again quickly. Furious, Amanda walks her boyfriend back to their apartment. As Odysseus begins to feel bad, the nurse encourages him to relax and promises to do everything to make the situation better.
CHLOÉ WANTS TO DIVORCE
Happy to learn that her daughter will be able to leave the hospital during the day, Chloe confides to her mother that she has many questions about her marriage and if it still has a future. Marianne is trying to find out if her daughter plans to get back together with him and Chloe replies that she is not completely closed to the idea, especially since she considers having been too hard on Alex recently. Marianne, who doubts the sincerity of her son-in-law, asks her daughter not to have too many illusions and adds that she is much better without him. Chloe then goes to Judith’s room and is looking forward to having her home soon. When Alex arrives in turn, Judith questions her parents to find out if they intend to give themselves another chance. Having no answer for her, Alex makes her understand that they need to talk and invites Chloe for a coffee. During their exchange, Chloe asks him about their ability to overcome this ordeal knowing that he is no longer with Flore. With his back to the wall, the oyster farmer finally admits that he continues to see her. Furious at this additional lie, Chloe excludes offering him a second chance. When he comes home, Alex reports his discussion with Chloe to Flore. Delighted to finally be able to live their love story in the open, Flore is ready to project herself into their relationship. Even if he feels good with her, Alex however needs time to embark on this new chapter of his life. Understanding, Flore is convinced that they are going to build something beautiful together. At the end of the day, Flore and Alex are preparing for dinner in a good mood when Chloe arrives to speak to her husband. As their marriage is definitely over, she now intends to divorce.
SAMUEL DECIDES TO TURN THE PAGE
After spending the night with Alma, Samuel is in a good mood. While he thanks her for the well-being she brings him, the doctor mistakenly calls him Leila before apologizing. Disturbed, Alma reveals herself to Lise about her sentimental setbacks with Samuel. Since she has the impression that he is making a transfer, she is not sure that she wants to waste her time playing the liners. She then joins Samuel at the Spoon and ends their story arguing that he needs to grieve. Before leaving him, Alma wishes him happiness and kisses him one last time. In full doubt, Samuel goes to the cemetery with a bouquet of red roses to meditate on Leila’s grave. Deeply moved, the doctor wonders if he should retain Alma to build something with her. When a rose falls at his feet, Samuel sees it as a sign from Leila and hastens to meet Alma at the end of high school. Wanting to build a relationship with her, he wants to make the English teacher his priority. Insofar as he understood that Leila would not return, Samuel guarantees to do everything to spare and protect her. Alma agrees to give him a chance and kisses him fully.
