Tuesday January 16 in Tomorrow Belongs to Us…

Georges investigates Adeline's past

Up early, Victoire tells Adeline about her discussion the day before with Samuel – without knowing that she had already heard everything. Victoire therefore learned that Samuel had fallen back into his addiction to painkillers and that he had left her to protect her, contrary to what she believed. If Adeline questions Samuel's word, Victoire believes him to be sincere. This doesn't stop Adeline from advising Victoire to be wary, reminding her of the warning that was found on her mirror.

At the Spoon, Samuel drinks coffee with William. The latter is very worried about his health when he learns that Samuel is mixing painkillers and alcohol. But Samuel wants to manage things as he sees fit for the moment. He's on the waiting list for rehab. As for Victoire, Samuel prefers to cut ties with her instead of continuing to hurt her.

At the police station, Georges informs Karim that the video surveillance images of the neighborhood yielded nothing. He then confides to her his suspicions concerning Adeline and a potential staged break-in. Georges investigates her: he discovers that her ex has filed a complaint against her. In fact, Adeline allegedly attacked him at his workplace by throwing everything she could get her hands on. Georges assumes that Adeline has had a grudge against men ever since and that she is trying to protect Victoire from Samuel. Karim is finally convinced by this hypothesis.

Meanwhile, Victoire goes to see Samuel in his hotel room. She admits that she can't stop thinking about everything he said to her. She wishes she had known the truth sooner and been there to help him. But Samuel wanted to protect her. In tears, he asks her for forgiveness. After which, he clarifies that he needs to do his treatment alone. Victoire wishes him to take care of him before leaving.

For his part, Georges goes to the hospital to question Adeline about the handrail that her ex filed against her. Adeline tells her version of the facts: she left her ex because he cheated on her. When he didn't stop harassing her after their breakup, she went to confront him directly at his workplace. Of course, she threw things in his face, but because she was at the end of her nerves. Georges then questions Adeline about Samuel. Even though she doesn't know him that well, Adeline considers him a man who hurts women.

After which, Georges calls Victoire who is at the Spoon with Soraya, to warn her of the turn of her investigation. He fully intends to explore this trail. When she hangs up, Victoire is upset. As for Soraya, she doesn't believe Adeline capable of such a thing.

Leaving the hospital, Adeline runs into Samuel. She does not hesitate to confront him and order him to stay away from Victoire. When Renaud intervenes, Adeline raises her voice and continues to defend her opinion.

Once back at Victoire's house, Adeline lets her anger explode. She then realizes that Victoire is searching her computer and that she discovered that she had done research on Samuel. Adeline justifies herself by explaining that she simply wanted to find out about him in order to protect her. Victoire retorts that they barely know each other. Injured, Adeline accuses Victoire of having twisted her brain. The latter decides to put an end to their shared accommodation.

In the evening, Renaud and Samuel leave the restaurant where they had dinner. They say goodbye, then each take a different path. Suddenly, Samuel hears the tires of a car squealing, then sees the vehicle driving away. When he turns around, he discovers his father lying on the ground, unconscious…

Noor always wants to help Gabriel and Soraya

Charlie and Gabriel find themselves in the same boat. One was left by François, while the other is separated from Soraya. To take his mind off things, Charlie suggests that Gabriel go Nordic walking.

On the trail, Charlie stops at a viewpoint and shouts insults at François to let off some steam. She encourages Gabriel to do the same thing, but he is unable to do so because he still has very strong feelings for Soraya.

During the walk, Gabriel sprains his ankle. He goes to the hospital where Noor examines him, then bandages him. If she takes the opportunity to push him to persevere to win back Soraya, Gabriel believes that there is nothing more to do to save their relationship.

Noor then tells Soizic about the situation. The latter believes that things will happen naturally if they have to be done. She adds that Noor cannot intervene further, unless she locks them both in a room and forces them to talk to each other. This joke does not fall on deaf ears…

Dorian suffers

Dorian goes to see his mother in the visiting room. While he still has difficulty accepting this new reality, Bénédicte asks him to make efforts to maintain a certain normality, in particular by focusing on him, on his life and his future. Dorian promises to try.

Later, Luna meets Dorian by chance outside. She is surprised that he is not in class. Dorian explains that he doesn't want to go because he feels unable to concentrate.

At the Spoon, Luna discusses the situation with Nathan. She asks him to speak with Dorian to motivate him to take control of himself.

Nathan meets Dorian at the skate park to encourage him not to give up on his studies. Dorian points out that Nathan is doing well too even though he didn't do any.
