THE POLICE SUSPECT SYLVAIN MORENO
The Daunier family is in mourning and it is with immense pain that William and Bénédicte go to the morgue to identify their father’s body. For her part, Brigitte does not accompany them because it is beyond her strength.
Meanwhile, the police received the autopsy report. According to the medical examiner, Régis would have died last Friday between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. because of a particularly violent punch which caused a massive cerebral hemorrhage. Unfortunately, the police have no leads since the person who killed Régis cleaned the face of the deceased before burying him. Faced with these elements, Lisa has the impression that this is an altercation that went wrong.
Karim meanwhile found the taxi driver who dropped off Brigitte at the station last Friday. The latter confirmed to the police that he had picked up the matriarch of the Daunier family at 3:08 p.m. and helped her board the 3:55 p.m. train, shortly before the presumed time of Régis’ death. Therefore, Brigitte is definitely cleared. But Captain Saeed made another discovery. Indeed, the deceased’s credit card was used in a supermarket at 7:22 p.m. Lisa then wonders if Régis was attacked for his credit card.
In the morgue, William and Bénédicte struggle to hide their grief at the remains of their father. Seeing the immeasurable pain of his sister, William takes her in his arms to comfort her. With tears in his eyes, he remembers the last time he had his father on the phone and regrets having exchanged simple banalities with him. It is at this time that an employee of the morgue joins them to give them the personal effects of Régis. Subsequently, William receives a message from his wife who warns him that Brigitte has been cleared. Immediately, William and Bénédicte obviously regret having imagined the worst.
For her part, Manon calls her sister to tell her of the death of their grandfather. Unfortunately, Sofia will not be able to attend the funeral because of her broken leg. Shortly after, Dorian supports his cousin and even says he is very happy to have teamed up with her to try to reconcile their grandparents.
Not far from there, Lisa managed to recover the copy of the receipt from the person who used Régis’ credit card. Unsurprisingly, the policewoman discovers that the killer has purchased the necessary equipment to bury a body. Luckily, Lisa was also able to get the CCTV footage from the parking lot and now hopes to track down the killer.
At the same time, William apologizes to his mother for doubting her. Once she has agreed to forgive him, Brigitte tells her that Régis sent her an email the day of his death. In it, he looked back on their happy days and explained that he was not closed to the idea of returning to Paris.
A stone’s throw away, Sylvain makes his wife believe that he is going out with Alex, but Charlie knows that in reality he is going to his gambling club. Sylvain therefore makes him promise to keep it a secret.
At the police station, the scientific police identified the paintwork of the vehicle that hit Régis’ car. It would be a screen-printed advertising vehicle belonging to Sylvain Moreno…
AUDREY AND DAMIEN’S DAY IS NOT GOING AS PLANNED
Since Leo’s kidnapping, Audrey has struggled to move on. That’s why she asks Jack to pick up her little brother at the end of college and to accompany him home after class. Damien then reminds her that she no longer has any reason to worry, especially since she has obtained her full adoption. Recognizing that he is not wrong, Audrey intends to take advantage of her day off to enjoy the man she loves.
As they prepare to baptize the sofa they have just purchased, they are constantly interrupted. First by Jack who forgot his math book then by Alma who invites himself to drink coffee, by a colleague of Damien and finally by the fire alarm which keeps ringing. And to top it off, Audrey thinks she saw a snake in the apartment…
CLAIRE AND SÉBASTIEN PASS A STAGE IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP
Claire and Sébastien spent the weekend together to get to know each other. If she found it very pleasant, the young woman would however have preferred to spend the night with Sébastien. Indeed, Raphaëlle’s father had reserved two rooms because he did not want to force her to share the same bed. Wishing to go further with him, Claire therefore proposes that they meet tonight. What he accepts.
Later, Sébastien bumps into Marianne at the Spoon and invites her for a coffee. After telling him about his weekend with Claire, the prosecutor confides that the latter would have liked him to be more enterprising. Only, Sébastien, who is not used to this kind of love story, opted for caution. To better manage his stress, Marianne then prescribed him a little medicine.
Subsequently, Sébastien finds his granddaughter at the port, who opens up to him about her relationship with Dorian. If Camille has the impression that their relationship is running out of steam, she is especially attracted to another high school student and knows that she will have to make a choice.
At the end of the day, Claire arrives in Sébastien’s office. After kissing, they end up making love.
