BENJAMIN KNOWS THE IDENTITY OF THE PERSON WHO SHOT HIM
At the police station, Karim and Commander Constant take stock of the investigation. According to Captain Saeed, Hadrian is a collateral victim who was in just the wrong place at the wrong time. As this makes him the only witness, the police must absolutely find him before the shooter.
Shortly after, their discussion is interrupted by the arrival of Lisa Hassan who tells Martin that she is the new recruit of the police station. Indeed, the young woman enjoyed working in the field so much that she asked for her transfer to Sète. Although he would have liked to be consulted before, Commander Constant is delighted to welcome him.
For his part, Hadrian managed to find refuge in an abandoned house in the middle of nature and remembers what happened that famous night. Hadrien was in his car when Benjamin pulled into the parking lot. It was when he was going to meet him that the shooter fired on the doctor. In a panic, Hadrien fled but the individual shot him before he could escape.
At the hospital, Alma meets Mathieu, a friend whom she and Benjamin met during their mission in Burkina Faso. The latter came to hear from the doctor. Relieved to hear that his friend was going to get out of it, Mathieu invites Alma to lunch. Unfortunately, the English teacher doesn’t have time for lunch or coffee with him. Before leaving, Mathieu takes her in his arms, which does not escape Victoire who imagines that Mathieu is interested in her friend.
Not far from there, Lisa questions Jack and Charlie but the latter have had no news of Hadrian since his departure for Bali. The policewoman then tells them that he is back in Sète and that he would be in danger. Needing to talk to him, Lisa begs them to let her know immediately if he comes into contact with them.
For his part, Karim received a call from the campsite informing him that someone had shot Hadrian’s mobile home. Without waiting, he goes there with Lisa to inspect the premises and understands that Alma’s son has fled.
A few steps away, Alma is giving her English lesson when she receives a call from Victoire telling her that Benjamin has woken up and that he is fine. Relieved, she let out a few tears.
Subsequently, Victoire and William explain to their colleague that he had a pneumothorax but that he is now out of the woods. Since Doctor Ventura has no memory of what happened, William tells him that he was shot.
At the end of the day, Alma goes to Benjamin’s bedside. As she kisses him tenderly, he reveals that he knows the identity of the person who shot him…
NOOR AND GABRIEL ARE ON THE SAME WAVES
In the early morning, Noor wakes up in Gabriel’s bed. Uncomfortable, she retrieves her belongings scattered on the ground before taking to their heels. In her flight, the young woman however forgot her scarf. When Gabriel arrives late for work pretending to have worked all night, Soraya notices her sister’s headscarf in her belongings. Gabriel, who is embarrassed, then says that Noor simply came to have a drink with the roommate. As she will probably see her sister before him, he gives her the scarf so that she returns it to him.
Shortly after, Soraya goes to the hospital to give the scarf to her sister who ends up confessing to her that she slept with Gabriel. However, she specifies that she has no intention of doing it again. Not having had time to talk to him about it, she decides to clear things up with him quickly. For his part, Gabriel confides in Charlie about his night with Noor then assures that he no longer has feelings for her.
At the end of the afternoon, Noor makes an appointment with Gabriel on the port to talk about the night they spent together. Although she found the moment enjoyable, Noor says she doesn’t want it to become a regular thing. Words that relieve Gabriel who is on the same wavelength.
NATHAN IS COMMITTED TO THE SPOON
Nathan badly needs the money and asks Mona to hire him to the Spoon. Even if he has no experience in the kitchen, Georges’ mother really needs a clerk and therefore talks to Bart about it. However, he would rather hire someone versatile who knows how to clean, serve and cook. As Nathan is motivated, Bart agrees to take him on trial for a few days.
Later, while chopping onions, Nathan takes the opportunity to shed a few tears. It must be said that he is still struggling to recover from his separation. He then asks Mona if she ever felt like she was so alone that she was dying and that the only person who mattered to her was gone forever. Very moved too, Mona replies yes.
Now in the singles market, Nathan has every intention of taking advantage of it. Besides, he wastes no time and writes down his phone number on the receipt of a Spoon customer who caught his eye. Seeing him do it, Bart reminds him that he is here to work and not to flirt with his clients. Immediately, Nathan apologizes to her.
A few hours later, Nathan receives a message from Valentine, one of the six girls to whom he left his number, who invites him for a drink.
