VICTOR IS READY FOR ANYTHING TO SAVE TIMOTHÉE
At the police station, Georges is in a good mood because he has managed to trace the place from which the photos of Judith Delcourt were posted. The pictures were not published from a cybercafé like those of Elsa but from a media library located in the center of Sète. As Lisa takes an interest in the case, Commander Constant reminds her that she is here to complete her file.
Tired, Lisa asks to speak to Martin in his office and confides to him that she experienced the same thing as Judith and Elsa. At the time, she had had an affair with a former colleague. Not having supported the end of their story, the latter wanted to take revenge by putting online photos of her which should have remained private. Unfortunately, his superiors buried the case because the image of the police was more important than its dignity. It was after this that Victoire’s cousin joined the IGPN.
Since he lacks manpower, Lisa therefore asks Commander Constant to put her on this case. Finally, Martin agrees to pair her with Georges. After thanking him, the young woman wastes no time getting to work and shares her impressions with him. According to her, the two ongoing investigations are not related. The police would rather deal with a kidnapper who knows the methods of the police and an attacker dressing like a cop.
Later, Victor arrives at the police station distraught. And for good reason, he has just received a new message from Timothée’s kidnapper: ” You know why I didn’t come yesterday. Be ready for further instructions. “. Certain that he wants to make him crack so that he pays the ransom, Martin offers Brunet to have his phone analyzed. Although he hesitates at first, he lets himself be convinced
Leaving the police station, Victor is disturbed and even has the impression of seeing Timothée in the street.
For their part, Georges and Lisa were able to talk about the metadata of the photos taken during the attacks and those contained in the SMS sent to Brunet. Since the IMEI numbers are identical, it means that the data was sent from the same mobile phone. The police then understand that they are dealing with one and the same person. The question now remains why a sex offender would engage in kidnapping as well as ransom demands.
Georges therefore continues his investigation on the side of the media library. An employee of the premises has also noticed a rather strange customer who was wearing a cap and a pink t-shirt. Thanks to the description of the logo of the garment, the policeman was able to go back to the straw hut.
At the same time, Sara became interested in people who had had problems with Brunet. Eric Jomand, the former police officer who kidnapped Nina, was recently released from prison after receiving a reduced sentence. If it is very likely that the latter is angry with Brunet to the point of wanting to extract money from him, Eric is not yet known to the police to be a sex offender. Despite everything, Commander Constant decides to follow this lead.
When Victor goes to the police station to get news of the investigation, he sees Eric’s photo on the suspects’ wall. Without waiting, he arrives at the hospital where Eric is hospitalized for dialysis. Mad with rage, Timothée’s father demands to know where his son is. Eric may affirm that he has never met the young man in his life, Victor does not believe him. In a black anger, the latter is about to slit his throat. Fortunately, Sara and Martin are around and summon him to put down his knife, otherwise they will have to shoot.
LEO HAS MADE A NEW FRIEND
Mathis, Léo’s new friend, spent the night with the Roussels. A friendship that enchants Audrey, especially since he is an independent and well-behaved little boy. Indeed, Mathis has divorced parents. As his father combines two jobs and often comes home late, he had to learn to fend for himself.
Later, Audrey receives a call from college to tell her that Leo skipped the canteen to go to fast food with Mathis. And apparently, this is not the first time this has happened since the little boy has only been to the canteen once since the start of the school year.
Back home, Audrey surprises Leo and Mathis shopping online. Mathis’ father didn’t have time to take care of it, so there is almost nothing left to eat at home. Audrey does try to make him understand that it’s not up to him to do it, but Mathis sees this as an opportunity to buy his favorite desserts.
At the end of the day, Dan picks up his son Mathis from the Roussels. While they are talking, Dan receives a call from Hélène, his ex-wife, and makes her believe that he went to pick up their son from college. A surreal scene that does not escape Audrey and Damien who begin to ask themselves questions.
FRANÇOIS REVEALS THE TRUTH
Charlie and Emma bump into each other in the high school bathroom. The opportunity for the Molina girl to assure the teenager that nothing is happening between her and Adam. Unfortunately, Emma doesn’t believe her.
