STANISLAS MAKES A REVELATION THAT WILL CHANGE AUDREY’S LIFE
After discovering several photos of the Roussel family in Stanislas’ belongings, Camille shares her discovery with her mother. While the teenager tries once again to make him open his eyes to the true nature of the skipper, the latter joins them and makes them a sensational announcement: Léo Roussel is his son!
A few years ago, Stanislas met Eve, Audrey’s sister, when he was living in the West Indies. Crazy in love with her, the latter had left him overnight without explanation. Last year, Stanislas ran into a mutual friend who told him that Eve had committed suicide in 2015, leaving behind an orphaned son. The dates corresponded to their idyll but it was when he saw a photo of little Leo that he immediately understood that it was his son. He therefore returned to settle in France to go in search of her. After tracking him down, the skipper followed the Roussel family to Sète.
When Raphaëlle tries to understand why he didn’t tell her about it sooner, Stanislas pretends that he didn’t expect to fall in love when he was going to find his son. Since he wants to be part of Léo’s life, Raphaëlle, who wants to help him, immediately offers to assert his rights.
Later, Camille tells the whole story to Sébastien and Chloé. For the prosecutor, Stanislas orchestrated everything from the start, including his scooter accident. By marrying Raphaëlle, he could, according to him, acquire the perfect social status to obtain custody. Fearing that his daughter is in danger, Sébastien calls the brigadier Raynaud so that she digs around the death of Eve Roussel.
Meanwhile, Raphaëlle and Stanislas arrive at the Spoon and announce the news to Audrey. When she understands that he wants to regain custody of Leo, the latter points out to him that he has no rights over him. Indeed, Eve made a request to the notary who stipulated that in case of misfortune, Audrey would have guardianship of Leo. Now, she has been raising him for seven years as if he were her son. She has also made a request for full adoption, which she is certain to obtain.
Panicked, Audrey returns home and confides in Damien. Eve had been living in the West Indies for a few years when she crossed paths with a certain Stan. As he was a violent man, she left him overnight to protect her baby after learning she was pregnant. If he never managed to find her, Stan continued to send her messages with threats for two years.
In 2015, Eve found a job in Brittany and it was that year that Audrey received a call from the police announcing the death of her sister. According to the authorities, the young woman committed suicide by jumping off a bridge, but Audrey never had the courage to confess the truth to her children. For them, Eve died of a ruptured aneurysm.
In the afternoon, Sara informs Damien that she is investigating the death of Eve Roussel. While he tries to understand why, the policewoman tells him that the police have Stanislas in their sights. Without waiting, Damien confirms to her that Stanislas is a violent man and that it is for this reason that Eve had left him eleven years earlier. The thesis of suicide becoming suspicious, Sara will continue her research and puts Roxane on the spot. Damien decides to help them by digging on his own. If Stanislas is linked to Eve’s death, it is out of the question for him to approach Leo and Audrey.
Not far from there, Audrey is spending time with Leo. Moved, the mother of the family cannot help but hug him tightly. And then remind him how important it is not to talk to strangers.
At the end of the day, Stanislas confides to Raphaëlle that he is afraid of never obtaining custody of his son. The lawyer is then positive and asks him to trust her.
At the station, Damien carefully studies Eve Roussel’s autopsy report. The body of the deceased showed no signs of violence prior to her fall, hence the conclusion of a suicide. For her part, Roxane identified several cases of suicide that took place on the same viaduct. Looking at the photos of the bodies, Damien immediately notices that there is very little blood around Eve’s, which means her heart had not been functioning for several minutes before the impact. For him, someone threw Eve’s body to make it look like a suicide…
SAMUEL AND VICTOIRE AGREE TO HELP FLORIANE LONGER
Floriane is still unreachable to the great displeasure of Victoire and Samuel who are exhausted by the little boy who keeps crying. At the end of their tether, the couple decides to call on the pros by asking Aurore and William for help.
Thanks to William’s advice, baby Samuel ends up sleeping soundly. If he hoped to take the opportunity to rest, Samuel unfortunately has to go do some shopping for the newborn.
Back home, Samuel receives a message from Floriane who has just arrived in Sète. Without waiting, the doctor gives her his address so that she can come and pick up her son. Victoire and Samuel are already rejoicing at the idea of recovering their freedom.
However, the couple quickly became disillusioned when Floriane begged them to keep her baby for a few more days. Indeed, the father of her son is not in Narbonne but in Lille. She therefore intends to go there to convince him to return to Sète. After Victoire and Samuel accept, Floriane thanks them warmly.
NOOR HAS A NEW DISILLUSION
For Cédric’s birthday, Noor would like them to go for the weekend to La Grande Motte. Cédric was hoping to spend time with his partner but Jahia tells him that they have also organized a family weekend for him in Ardèche. He will therefore have to choose between his family and his companion.
Once he has made his choice, Cédric arranges to meet Noor at the Spoon and cancels their weekend. Indeed, the father of the family needs to arrange things with his children. However, the nurse promises to set another date so that they can go on a romantic weekend. Although disappointed, Noor is understanding.
On returning, she surrenders to her sister. She then explains that she is not sure that she can endure this situation for very long and that she feels like she is taking a back seat. To cheer him up, Soraya offers to take the two of them away for the weekend, which Noor happily accepts.
