The evidence against Noor is overwhelming. If for the murder of Romain Melville she will be able to plead self-defense, on the other hand she has no extenuating circumstances for the murder of Alizée nor for the attempted assassination on Gabriel. Noor therefore faces life imprisonment. Although these elements exonerate Bart, the prosecutor still decides to maintain his detention until the police find the accomplice in Alizée’s murder.

For her part, Soraya informs Cédric that she plans to request a release for Noor. However, the lawyer fears that the prosecutor will reject her request since the case is far too complex. Soraya then tells him of her suspicions. According to her, the murderer of Romain and Alizée Melville seeks to deflect suspicion by having his little sister bear the brunt. She therefore promises to do everything possible to prove her innocence. As she managed to get a parlor, Cedric instructs Soraya to tell Noor that he loves her. What she accepts.

Later, Soraya meets Bart in the visiting room and tells him that Noor has been arrested. While Bart hopes that this will allow him to be released, the lawyer unfortunately tells him that the prosecutor thinks he is his accomplice. Inevitably, Bart blames the blow but Soraya undertakes to do everything to get them out of there.

Back in his cell, Bart rehashes the latest events that have turned his life upside down. From his mother’s descent into hell to his forced hospitalization in a psychiatric hospital, including his arguments with Louise. At worst, he breaks down and starts crying.

A few steps away, Gabriel goes to Garance’s bedside and begs her to wake up in order to prove Noor’s innocence. He then admits to being still very much in love with the nurse and that he cannot imagine her ending her days in prison.

Leaving the hospital room, Gabriel accidentally bumps into Olivier in the corridors. Looking at his wrist, he sees a bracelet protruding from his sleeve. The same one his attacker wore the day he was kidnapped.

Without waiting, Gabriel goes to Cabinet Perraud and reveals to Soraya that it was Olivier who tried to kill him. The math teacher would therefore be the culprit from the start…
