Friday August 27 in Tomorrow belongs to us …
Anthony is arrested thanks to Sarah
Amanda, Tristan and Louise share their grief over Odysseus’ death. The nurse tells them that she will be away for a while to go to Martinique to attend her funeral. Meanwhile, the police are on a trail to find Anthony and Charlie: they have been spotted at a gas station on the road leading to Spain.
As for the fugitives, Charlie persuades Anthony that she must stay with him. If they are stopped by the police, he can use her as a hostage and try to escape. Furious with her after Ophelia was injured, Anthony holds her responsible for their situation but accepts her proposal.
Unfortunately, they are quickly stopped on the highway by a police blockade, erected by Constant and Karim. Anthony then grabs his gun and threatens to shoot Charlie. He is then neutralized by a bullet in the back, shot by Sarah.
Charlie is rescued, and Anthony, only superficially injured, is embarked. While Karim and Martin asking Sarah to take off her patrol jacket, the young woman thinks she has committed a serious fault, and justifies herself by saying that she had a perfect angle of fire to stop Anthony.
Her superiors start to smile: in reality, Sarah has performed an act of bravery. No more reports and road traffic: she is officially promoted to crossing guard, and will now work in the field with them. Very moved at the idea of rising in rank, Sarah cannot believe it.
Chloe forgives Alex
With the hostage taking definitely behind them, Chloe and Alex find themselves with their children alongside Xavier and his daughters for a peaceful family moment. At the same time, Camille and Maud receive a call from their mother who lives in Paris: she promises them to go down to Sète soon to visit them, which makes them happy.
Later, Chloe and Alex find themselves face to face. While Alex enjoys a moment of tenderness with Celeste, Chloe confesses that their kiss the day before was for her a simple moment of bewilderment after the traumatic events they went through, and that she no longer has of feelings for him.
On the other hand, the fact of having gone through this hostage-taking together and of having escaped it unscathed made Chloe understand that she no longer held it against Alex for having left her for another woman. She assures him that she forgives him, and that she has now turned the page. As he is about to leave, she holds him back one last time to say something to him, then finally changes his mind.
In the evening, after saying goodbye to Maxime, Chloe finds herself alone with Judith and automatically opens the mail. She then discovers a mysterious letter that leaves her speechless …
Clement has a fit
At the hospital, Clément is examined by Garance. He confides in her on the intense fatigue he has been feeling for several weeks, which no doctor has yet managed to explain. The nurse reassures him: the battery of examinations he has just performed will surely allow him to discover what he is suffering from. But Clément fears to be touched by an orphan disease, and to have no prospect of cure.
For her part, Mathilde can’t stop thinking about him. His father encourages him to confide in him, and suggests to him not to think too much about this boy and to forget him for a while, according to the principle of “follow me, I run away from you”, in order to create a lack. According to him, this is the best way to get him back in touch with her as quickly as possible.
But Mathilde does not resist and tries several times to call Clément, without success. For good reason, he is in the middle of a romantic meeting on the beach with Garance the same evening. Playing double game with her as with Mathilde, he assures her that there is no other girl in his life.
But suddenly, Clément feels bad and has an unexplained epileptic fit on the beach. Distraught, Garance calls for help …
Victor helps Timothy find his tablet
While Victor goes to the police station to carry out his judicial control, Timothée persists in wanting to file a complaint against Nathan, convinced that he is responsible for the theft of his tablet. Victor, not being in a position to press charges against anyone, dissuades him and promises to settle things himself.
He goes to the straw hut on the beach, where Hadrien has just had very harsh words towards Nathan. After accusing him of stealing from his clients, he finally reconsiders his words and apologizes to her. Victor, meanwhile, does not hear it that way: showing his electronic bracelet to Nathan, he presents himself as a violent convict and threatens to settle his account if he does not find his son’s tablet. ‘here an hour.
Frightened, Nahan complies and presents his tablet to Timothy, claiming to have confused it with his own. Satisfied, Timothy is however not fooled by Nathan’s lie, and thanks his father for having resolved the situation.
