The Walking Dead World Beyond season 2 on Prime Video: the return of an iconic character and links to the film on Rick Grimes?

The American channel AMC unveiled this night a trailer for the second – and already last – season of its series The Walking Dead: World Beyond; spin-off of the famous horror series, this second derivative of the franchise features young heroes born after the outbreak of the apocalypse which transformed a majority of the population into the living dead.

Less popular than the other two series Walking dead, World Beyond will nevertheless create the event by bringing back an emblematic character; Formerly, ephemeral villain of the mother series, will indeed make its comeback on the occasion of this second season. Like Daryl, the latter is a character specific to the television version, since completely absent from the comics.

The return of Jadis will certainly be an opportunity to learn a little more about the whereabouts of Rick Grimes, whom she delivered by helicopter to a mysterious community whose identity has still not been revealed. Recall that a film – whose shooting has not yet started – will serve as an epilogue to the character in the manner of a twilight western, as its interpreter Andrew Lincoln has already revealed.

The new season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond will air on October 3 on AMC in the United States, and at a later date with us exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
