The creator of the comics “The Walking Dead” Robert Kirkman announced the publication next June of a mini-series featuring his iconic hero, Rick Grimes.
The final season of The Walking Dead will mark the final end of the horror series, while we are still without news of the film Rick Grimes with Andrew Lincoln whose filming has not yet started.
Nevertheless, the creator of the franchise Robert Kirkman has announced that a mini-series featuring the iconic sheriff will be released soon, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his company Skybound. Entitled Skybound X, this comic book will bring together several heroes from the works of the American author in a completely new adventure.
Note, however, that this comic book will not be a direct follow-up to The Walking Dead, not even a prequel; the plot of this comic in five chapters will be considered non-canon, that is to say outside the official chronology of the work. It should therefore be read as an independent comic book, and not a complement to the original series.
Announced for next June, the comic book event Skybound X does not yet have a publisher in France. Remember that the animated series Invincible, also adapted from a comic-book by Robert Kirkman, is currently broadcast on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
