Jean-Xavier de Lestrade’s documentary series, Suspicions, knows, in 2004, a considerable success with its eight episodes. Nine years later, the documentarian added 2 episodes, then 3 more in 2018 to complete the Michael Peterson affair. A long-term work that comes back to life on the small screen with a mini-series of eight episodes, offered by the American platform HBO Max.
World famous for her character of Sansa Stark in Game Of Thrones, a role that earned her an Emmy nomination, Sophie Turner is joining the cast of this highly anticipated project. She plays the adopted daughter of Michael Peterson, accused of the murder of his wife, Kathleen Peterson. She will therefore give the reply to Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Parker Posey, Rosemarie DeWitt and the French Juliette Binoche.
The series will be written and produced by Maggie Cohn and Antonio Campos. The latter, who will direct six of the eight episodes, recently signed the film The Devil, all the time, offered on the Netflix platform. As for Suspicion, the series by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, all 13 episodes are available on myCANAL.
