In 2018, TF1 was betting on a series mainly focused on teenagers in prime-time and successfully launched The Red Bracelets. For three seasons, front page viewers were able to follow the initiatory story and the friendship story of Thomas, Clément, Roxane, Mehdi, Sarah, Côme, or even Louise, a group of teenagers unlike any other, united against disease.
While a season 4, which should feature a new generation of characters, is still in preparation, the Salto streaming platform invites you to (re) discover this very nice series developed by Marie Roussin, which revealed young talents such asAudran Cattin, Tom rivoire, Louna Espinosa, Esther valding (Tomorrow belongs to us), and Azize Diabate (Here it all begins).
But in addition to having put online this Thursday, April 15 all the episodes of the series produced to date, Salto has also added to its catalog the complete original Spanish version, Vermellas polseres, which is also called The Red Bracelets in France and has 28 episodes spread over two seasons.
Because the TF1 series is none other than the French remake of this dramatic series broadcast between 2011 and 2013 in Spain, which is inspired by the true story of Albert Espinosa, who survived three cancers and had a great part of his youth in the hospital.
Fans of the Red Bracelets will therefore be able to compare the two versions and finally devour, after a somewhat confidential broadcast on Number 23 in 2013, the adventures of Jordi, Leo, Roc, Cristina, Tony, and Yanis. How it all began, before the French adaptation or the other international remakes. Including Red Band Society in the United States, which was canceled after only one season.
And before that, we offer you, in the slideshow above, to discover the faces of the actors of the Spanish series. In order to give you your opinion on the resemblance, or not, between the heroes of the original version and the remake of TF1.
