The Mandalorian season 2: a technician in jeans is hiding in episode 4! – News Series on TV

A tasty false connection is hidden in episode 4 of season 2 of “The Mandalorian”: a VERY visible technician in the Imperial base.

Fans used to unearth the easter eggs and other winks scattered in each episode of the Star Wars series probably did not expect this: a technician in jeans & t-shirt visible at the corner of a corridor of the episode S2E04 of The Mandalorian!

So, while Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Greef Karga (Carl Weathers, here director), Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Mythrol (Horatio Sanz) invest an imperial base supposed to be abandoned and that they are preparing to enter a mysterious lab, a member of the tech team can be seen to the left of the frame at 6:54 PM, patiently awaiting the end of the take (and blaster shootout).

If false connections of this nature are quite common (and tasty) in historical films – we think of the cameraman in a white t-shirt on Gladiator or the man in the cap on Braveheart -, they have so far been very rare. in the Star Wars saga. And even more on the intergalactic productions of the “digital age”, which makes it easier to “clean up” small filming errors.

This little blunder, as anecdotal as it is sympathetic, obviously does not affect our pleasure in finding Mando and Baby Yoda in their adventures every week. The next episode is expected this Friday, November 27 on Disney +.
