LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Stories – Friday October 1

October is off to a good start on Disney + with a new animated film announcing the color: the Halloween festivities have already started. Starting October 1, get your pumpkins out and sit in front of LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Stories.

Created by Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group, this film features Poe and BB-8, two essential characters from the Star Wars universe, on an impromptu visit to Darth Vader’s castle on Mustafar, which has become the largest Sith luxury hotel in the Galaxy. Their guide Vaneé then tells them three scary stories that will delight fans of great thrills … and the touch of humor characteristic of the LEGO movies!

In the original version, viewers will recognize the voices of Tony Hale (The Mysterious Benedict Circle) and Christian Slater (The Name of the Rose, Mr. Robot) as Vaneé and Ren. Prepare to experience Halloween on the dark side of the Force.

Reservation Dogs – Wednesday October 13

On October 13, Disney + launches its new Star Original series, a comedy co-created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit). Reservation Dogs follows the adventures of four idle teenagers who commit petty crimes on a Native American reservation in Oklahoma. Their objective ? Earn enough money to travel to California.

In order to paint a realistic and authentic portrait of the Amerindian community, the scenarios and the staging of the eight episodes of the first season were entrusted to real natives of the Indian reserves.

The series is carried by young talents Devery Jacobs, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Paulina Alexis and Lane Factor. At its launch, two episodes will be available before a weekly broadcast. Reservation Dogs has already been renewed for a second season.

The Simpsons: season 32 – Wednesday, October 20

The most famous animated family of the small screen returns from October 20 on Disney + on the occasion of the launch of the 32nd season of the series The Simpsons. Great news for Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie fans!

In these 22 new episodes as funny and powerful as ever, the emblematic Springfield family has some crazy adventures in store for viewers: a Mr. Burns playing the boss incognito, a new passion for Marge and Lisa captivated by podcasts dedicated to criminal cases …

On the vocal casting side, some nice surprises await anglophiles with the participation of Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman, among many others. Not to mention the 700th episode of the series!

Happy mothers of three children – a biological son from a previous marriage and adopted twins – Stef Foster and Lena Adams will see their lives turned upside down by the arrival in their home of Callie, a rebellious teenager just out of a center detention for minors.
