It’s official, a new Expendables movie is well underway and full of stars! Megan Fox, 50 Cent and Tony Jaa notably join the franchise.
Teased on Instagram several times by Sylvester Stallone in recent weeks, the fourth episode of The Expendables has finally been made official by Lionsgate, as revealed by the Hollywood Reporter.
Sly will obviously be back in front of the camera, just like Jason Statham who should even be the star of this new opus. Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture will also reprise the roles they played in the previous installments. New kids have also been announced to the cast: Megan Fox, 50 Cent and Tony Jaa!
It is the former stuntman turned director Scott Waugh (Need for Speed) who was chosen to direct all these beautiful people from a screenplay by Spenser Cohen, Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly. Filming is due to start in October.
More involved than ever, Jason Statham will also be the producer of this opus. It is only since Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw that the comedian has tried his hand at production. He has since produced the next untitled Guy Ritchie film, in which he stars.
Statham was also the star of An Angry Man last June:
