Going for a picnic has always been a popular pastime in this country, but since it has become one of the only ways to socialize under lock and key, the art of picnicking has been taken up a notch. A few cans and a pack of cocktail sausages won’t cut it anymore, not when you can get ready-made mega picnic boxes like these. And most of them can be delivered as well, so if the weather changes, you can have a picnic on the sofa instead.

Noble house prepared – swap the soft sarnies for this gourmet feast prepared by the chef of Noble House Prepared. They have not one but THREE different picnic offerings (savory, sweet or mixed), including luxury items like H. Forman & Son smoked salmon from East London and giant gourmet sausage rolls. Plus, all baked goods are frozen in case the British weather lets you down. This is what we call a luxurious version of Iceland.

Prick – no matter the occasion, Pique has a matching picnic box. They specialize in luxury homemade picnics and have boxes for celebrations, birthday breakfasts, movie nights and more, which you can have delivered within seven miles of Battersea. Everything comes in recyclable or compostable packaging, and you can add wicker baskets and rugs if you’re really trying to impress.

Bocca di Lupo – La Bocca di Lupo in Soho celebrates our new found freedom with a range of picnics. The classic box includes Sardinian crusty bread with pecorino cream for dipping, a hearty side of smoked ricotta with grilled eggplant, Tuscan salami, homemade marbled ricotta and chocolate cake and a bottle of Prosecco de Gelupo. They’ll deliver to any postcode in London, and even throw away a stylish tote bag (along with eco-friendly cutlery, plates and glasses) to have everything ready to transport to the park.

London Shell Co. – the floating restaurant cannot have people on board to eat seafood, so they ship the seafood to you through their new Seashore to Front Door delivery service. Their Easter picnic box includes whole smoked trout, smoked salmon, pepper charcuterie, shrimp and mayonnaise, soda bread and a bottle of English sparkling wine from the Grand Duchess to complete the party. . AHOY.

Jose pizarro – pretend you’re on vacation somewhere in Spain with this ready-to-eat tapas-style picnic from our favorite Spanish chef, José Pizarro. It obviously includes slices of Jamón Ibérico, but also tortilla de patatas, manchego and La Peral cheese, empanadilla de atún, boquerones, ensaladilla Ruse, olives and TWO bottles of Nordes Gin. And they deliver nationwide.
