Thanksgiving Grandma Celebrates First Holiday After Husband’s Death
Wanda Dench, the Arizona grandmother who accidentally invited a stranger to her Thanksgiving dinner in 2016 and formed a beautiful friendship with him as a result, celebrates her first vacation without her husband Lonnie dench, WHO died of coronavirus in April.

That same month, Jamal too shared a video from him at lunch with Wanda, Lonnie and his girlfriend Mikaela grubbs, writing “We miss you Lonnie.”
Briana followed Wanda and Jamal’s story, and shared that while the two won’t be reuniting for Thanksgiving this year, as they have for the past four years, they still celebrate the festivities – and honor Lonnie in the process. .
