The Clone Troopers set off on a mission. While The Clone Wars ended in May after seven seasons of loyal service, the soldiers of the Bad Batch squad will return to battle in a new animated series Lucasfilm Animation, expected exclusively on Disney + in 2021.

Entrusted to Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance), Brad Rau (Star Wars Resistance, Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Star Wars Rebels) and Josh Rimes (Star Wars Resistance), assisted – among others – by the essential Dave Filoni, Star Wars : The Bad Batch will follow in the footsteps of this elite commando of experimental clones, genetically different from those constituting the regular army of the Republic and endowed with exceptional skills, in a galaxy in full transformation at the end of the Clone Wars .

Located between the prelogy and the original trilogy, the program will allow fans to find the members of Force Clone 99 (the name of the Bad Batch in French version), which had been introduced in episodes 1 to 4 of season 7 of Clone Wars. Its members (Crosshair, Hunter, Tech, Wrecker and CT-1409 alias Echo) will try to carry out various missions through the brand new Galactic Empire, while striving to give new meaning to their lives.

Pending the adventures of the Bad Batch, the Force will be available on Disney + from October 2020 with season 2 of The Mandalorian. Also planned are series around Cassian Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
