Your payment for each month will be provided at the end of each previous month. For example, your February SAID payment will be issued at the end of January.

SAID 2024 Payment Eligibility

  • Identity: You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or authorized to stay under the Canada-Ukraine emergency program.
  • Location: Your home base needs to be Saskatchewan.
  • Age: You must be 18 or older to apply.
  • Financial Need: Your current resources shouldn’t be enough to cover your basic living costs.
  • Disability: You need to have a significant and enduring disability, meaning it’s permanent and impacts your daily life to the point where you require assistance (like a device, someone’s help, a service animal) to manage. A Disability Impact Assessment will be conducted to confirm this.

How to apply for the SAID 2024 payment?

There are multiple ways to apply for SAID 2024, you may learn about them from below.

  • Sign in or create your Saskatchewan Account. (Active email required!)
  • Take 25+ minutes to answer questions and upload documents. (Pay stubs, rental agreements, etc.)
  • Save and return later anytime. You have 15 days to complete and submit.
  • Protect your identity. Sign out, clear your history, and close your browser when done.

  • Reach Social Services Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In Person:

  • Visit your nearest Social Services Office.
  • Get help with an online application or access a computer/phone.
  • Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM or 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. (Closed on holidays.)
