The publisher Capcom unveiled last night in a new showcase a new trailer for its highly anticipated “Resident Evil: village”, which is scheduled for release on May 7. Pictures!
After a first showcase last January, organized around its highly anticipated next installment of the Resident Evil franchise, called “Village” – the eighth canonical installment of the saga – the publisher Capcom did it again last night.
If you missed the start …
Taking place a few years later Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (which we told you here all the good that we thought), VILLAGE begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new place, far from their stay of hell in the property of the Bakers. As they rebuild a new life together, tragedy strikes them again. Chris Redfield, one of the main characters of the Resident Evil series who made a brief appearance in the previous installment, once again bursts into the couple’s daily life to change its course forever …
The latest trailer for Resident Evil Village immerses fans a little more in the world of the game by giving them a glimpse of the diversity of environments and enemies they will encounter during their journey. One can, among other things, discover clues to a huge underground factory producing multiple humanoid creatures, and to a vast artificial lake barely concealing what appears to be a colossal aquatic monster.
The mysterious man discovered at the RE Showcase in January turns out to be Heisenberg. Although his name is now known, his role remains unclear in Ethan Winters’ investigation to find his daughter. Series veteran Chris Redfield also makes an appearance with questionable motives, leaving even more mystery about his involvement in the story.
The images are in any case damn envy, with a sinister and unhealthy atmosphere, to discover below …
The action proposed by Resident Evil Village does not stop at the end of Ethan’s adventure because the mode “The Mercenaries” made a comeback. In this additional game mode that is unlocked by completing the main campaign, players must complete increasingly demanding objectives before the time runs out.
The Main Campaign Merchant, also known as The Duke, appears in this mode, offering weapons and upgrades to help players complete challenges. They can also acquire abilities that enhance their weapons or physical talents. It will be up to everyone to establish a strategy to determine which configuration will be the most effective for each objective.
