Redmi 10 Prime to launch in India next month: A tweaked Redmi 10?
- Redmi 10 Prime will be coming to India in September
- It is most likely the Redmi 10, with some minor adjustments.
The Redmi 10, which Xiaomi officially announced last week (see above), seems to be a great budget option for less than $200. Although the company did not reveal details about the Indian launch, it has now confirmed that the launch date for the Redmi 10 Prime will be announced.
The company revealed a September 3 launch date at midday IST (2:30 AM ET), adding that the new phone will offer “blockbuster performance.” Check out the invite image below.
The Redmi 10 Prime is expected to be a Redmi 10 version, with more storage and/or RAM for one. This belief is supported by the Redmi 10 Prime and Redmi 10 Prime. Sharing the same Bluetooth SIG listing, and very similar model numbers.
The Redmi 9 Prime was also released in India last year. It differs from the global Redmi 9 in that it has more RAM and storage, as well as a waterproof coating.
The Redmi 10 also features an Helio G88 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged with 18W. It also has a 6.5-inch, 90Hz LCD screen. Redmi’s device has a 50MP rear camera system with quad cameras. However, this 50MP sensor is more affordable than the 50MP sensors available.
The Redmi 10 Prime’s price is unknown at this time. However, the Redmi 9 Prime was priced at Rs 9,999 ($135). It stands to reason that the price of the new device will be similar.
