Pelicana is Coming to London | Eat & Drink

A new kind of KFC is coming to town as Korean fried chicken chain Pelicana, which has more than 2,000 locations in South Korea and others in China, Malaysia and the United States, opens four branches in London. Wasabi founder Dong Hyun Kim (who also owns the UK main franchise rights for Kineya) is the man who brought the birds to our shores, with the first opening in Hammersmith Broadway in April, followed by another at Angel in June, at Wimbledon in July and Clapham Junction in September.

Fried chicken is obviously the star of the show at Pelicana, with soy sauce, Korean seasonings, garlic, and hot pepper among the flavors available on bone-in pieces, boneless pieces, and wings. With US channel Popeyes also flying over the capital this year, it looks like London is about to have a good time.
