Before heading to the familiar setting of the Arconia, we invite you to take a quick look back at the events that concluded the 1st season, before lifting the veil on what awaits you in the new episodes of the original series (guaranteed without spoilers !).
HOW DID SEASON 1 END?
A little reminder before plunging back into the hectic daily life of the inhabitants of Arconia. In the first season of Only Murders in the Building, the delicious trio formed by Charles, Mabel and Oliver, all three great fans of true crime podcasts, investigated the murder of another tenant in their building, a certain Tim Kono (Julian Cihi)…

At the end of an investigation worthy of the greatest detectives, the three friends finally discovered the identity of the famous assassin: Jan (Amy Ryan), the bassoon player, and girlfriend of Charles. The cellphone ? She had a romantic relationship with Tim Kono who had broken up with her, while being convinced that he had cheated on her. And Jan didn’t intend to stop at this murder since she was even ready to blow up the whole building to make the evidence disappear when she was unmasked.
Our shock trio, including a paralyzed Charles, obviously did not agree and managed to put an end to her actions, before she was arrested by the police.
But, at the end of the last episode, while Mabel, Oliver and Charles are celebrating their small victory on the roof of the Arconia, a tragic event comes to upset their lives once again. While Mabel goes to her apartment to retrieve a bottle of champagne, Oliver and Charles receive a message telling them to evacuate the building immediately.

Refusing to leave the place without their friend, they decide to join her and discover her… bleeding in front of the lifeless body of Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell), the president of the board of directors of the building, a knitting needle stuck in the chest.
WHO KILLED BUNNY?
After the murder of Tim Kono, it is therefore that of Bunny which will be at the heart of this 2nd season. And if all the evidence seems to point to the trio that carries the series, there is no question for Mabel, Charles and Oliver to give up. The three friends are determined to prove their innocence and find the real culprit.
In this new salvo consisting of 10 episodes, the amateur investigators will also become, despite themselves, the subject of another podcast and will be confronted by neighbors convinced that they are real criminals. And that’s without counting on other mysteries that will disturb their investigation…

This season of Only Murders in the Building welcomes some exceptional guests. After Sting, jimmy fallon or Tina Feyit is now the turn of Cara Delevingne (carnival row) and Amy Schumer (Life & Beth) to appear in the series. The first embodies an artist very interested in Mabel’s mural, while the second plays her own role, and the trio’s podcast has piqued her curiosity.
Michael Rapaport (Atypical) lends his features to Detective Kreps, agent Williams’ partner (Da’Vine Joy Randolph). Finally, another guest, and not least, the Oscar-winning actress Shirley MacLaine is also involved in an undisclosed role. What make us want to discover as soon as possible the first two episodes of season 2, now available on Disney +.
