On the advice of a friend, director David Moreau read the albums of “Seul”, a successful comic strip written by Fabien Vehlmann and illustrated by Bruno Gazzotti. It is a blow of heart. Fan of the fantastic, the filmmaker sees it as an opportunity to make a French genre film. With his American experience on the horror film The Eye, he embarked on the adaptation of the first five volumes with the blessing of the original authors.
