THE FILM OF THE DAY
Who said that France did not have the right to beautiful romantic comedies? According to AlloCiné viewers, the best film of its kind in recent years comes straight from France and it is My Unknown.
Its success is due to the perfect balance between romance and comedy – without ever lapsing into silliness or vulgarity – to its share of fantasy, even science fiction during the opening scene, as well as to its masterful interpretation, from the main duo formed by François Civil and Joséphine Japy to the hilarious sidekick played by Benjamin Lavernhe.
Thus, Hugo Gélin signs an original romantic comedy, touching and resolutely modern. If the point of view of the male protagonist takes precedence, the film does not neglect its female character, in particular by addressing the place of personal fulfillment in a couple.
