In his head, the perfect comedy brings together the writing of Billy Wilder, the sense of detail of Bruno Podalydès, the lines of Splendid, the angry energy of Louis de Funès, the social discourse of Chaplin, the references of Palmashow, the great anything from ZAZ and chaos from the Marx Brothers.

Interpreter of agent 1001, Pierre Niney is at the heart of the new teaser of “OSS 117: Red alert in black Africa”. Clash of generations guaranteed between his character and that of Jean Dujardin.

It is, without a doubt, the flagship recruit of this new opus of the adventures of OSS 117: agent 1001 played by Pierre Niney, with whom Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath will have to team up in this episode entitled Alert red in black Africa.

Seen so far on photos and a poster, the character is today at the heart of the new teaser of the film directed by Nicolas Bedos, expected on August 4 in our theaters. And it is an understatement to say that it is already making sparks.

First admiring his counterpart, whom he describes as “legend”, OSS 1001 will quickly become the embodiment of the new world with which 117 will be confronted in this third installment. A real shock of the generations is therefore to be expected, thanks to this newcomer, younger and more lively, while the teaser suggests a pleasing and effective opposition of comic timing between Jean Dujardin and Pierre Niney.

Still written by Jean-François Halin, and directed by Nicolas Bedos, who succeeds Michel Hazanavicius behind the camera, OSS 117: Alerte rouge en Afrique noire takes place in 1981. On the African continent, as the title clearly indicates , and for what promises to be the most perilous and torrid of the hero’s missions on the big screen.

Also worn by Fatou N’Diaye and the late Wladimir Yordanoff, the feature will finally be visible in our theaters in two months exactly.
