Written by Chief Editor

In February, CANAL + unveils its new Décalée Creation which is none other than the first series produced by Emma de Caunes. Called “Neuf Meufs”, this one offers us a unique look at nine women living in the same building… All the details.

Building on the success of L’Effondrement, Narvalo, without forgetting the triumph of the three chapters of Calls, CANAL + persists and signs a new Décalée Creation which should make a splash. Her name ? Nine Meufs. Its director? Emma de Caunes, accompanied by her co-author Diastème. Very first series of the actress, it will be broadcast from February 15 and offers us to push the doors of nine apartments of women living in the same building. All through nine 10-minute episodes, built like snapshots in the day of each of these heroines. From an Englishwoman on the verge of breaking up to a young girl returning to her father after a sentimental disappointment, to a mother who faces the embarrassing questions of her daughter: each portrait emphasizes that despite their differences in age or way of life, these women have in common the fact of having to face their desires, whether they are unacknowledged, upset, nascent, unmentionable … A sometimes funny, often touching and always fair fresco, which comes to life thanks to impeccable actresses.
