September 10: Kate

This thriller, produced by the producer of Atomic Blonde, promises some high-powered action! Mary Elizabeth Winstead slips into the shoes of Kate, a perfectly honed killing machine at the top of her game.

But the day she fails a contract and finds herself poisoned, she only has 24 hours to take revenge on her killers. The actress will face Woody Harrelson and Miku Patricia Martineau in this action film directed by Cédric Nicolas-Troyan (The Hunter and the Ice Queen).

September 29: Friendzone

Crazy French comedy in sight! Directed by Charles Van Tieghem (co-creator and co-writer of the Validé series), Friendzone tells the sentimental setbacks of Thibault, who is fed up with platonic relationships. When he meets Rose, he will do everything to go from best friend to boyfriend.

In the cast of this film, we find Mickael Lumière (Why I live), Manon Azem (They were ten), Fadily Camara, Eva Danino and Constance Arnoult.

September 3: At what price?

A heartbreaking drama inspired by real events, At what price? looks back on the journey of volunteer lawyer Kenneth Feinberg, an expert in the compensation of victims such as those of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the Boston Marathon bombing or the terrorist shooting in Orlando.

This forensic biopic, carried by Michael Keaton, Stanley Tucci and Amy Ryan, begins when the lawyer is confronted with the emotional toll of the tragedy of the September 11, 2001 attacks and must put the value of the lives lost in dollars.

September 24: Lily and the bird

Melissa McCarthy and Chris O’Dowd play a sunny couple who will do anything to find a smile in Lily and the Bird, a comedy-drama directed by Theodore Melfi (Shadow Figures).

The film is about how Lily tries to survive grief as her husband has gone on her own to rebuild himself. But she will also have to deal with a stubborn bird that has taken up residence in her garden.
