It is from a drop of blood absorbed by a fossilized mosquito that John Hammond and his team have succeeded in reviving a dozen species of dinosaurs. This is the starting point of the cult Jurassic Park trilogy adapted from the work of Michael Crichton, with a certain Steven Spielberg at the helm. A summit of entertainment that has not aged a bit, to (re) discover without moderation. We will also note the presence, still on Netflix, of the excellent animated series Jurassic World: La Colo du Crétacé.

AND THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (1982)

How not to evoke ET the extra-terrestrial, the great classic of family sci-fi signed Steven spielberg ? The story of this little alien who arrives on Earth in the middle of the night and who, hunted down by the military, finds refuge with a little boy, is a moment of cinema as ever as magical. Funny, tender, moving, intelligent, this great film on childhood, which attracted nearly eight million spectators in French theaters, has not aged a bit. To be enjoyed without moderation.

THE SAGA BACK TO THE FUTURE (1985 – 1990)

Available on Netflix from February 16.

Name of Zeus, Back to the Future, it’s that kind of movie you’ve seen 37 times and can still watch again with the same renewed pleasure. Marty McFly, Doc Emmett Brown, his dog Einstein, Biff Tannen, the DeLorean, the Hoverboard, these hectic travels in time … We know the scenes and the dialogues by heart, we could start to get bored, but yet, we are each time, again and again, glued to the screen and amazed by the quality of this very high-end entertainment. The term is sometimes a bit misused, but not here: Bob Zemeckis’ trilogy is definitely cult.

THE PHANTOMS FILMS (1984 & 1989)

Peter, Raymond and Egon are researching parapsychology. Fired by the Dean of the faculty, they then decide to found a company intended to hunt ghosts. Its name: Ghostbusters. This fantasy comedy classic led by the awesome trio of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis is a little treat. On the menu: laughter, chills, excellent supporting roles played by Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis, not to mention an absolutely cult theme song signed Ray Parker, Jr. that you probably already have in your head when reading these lines! “Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! “

THE GOONIES (1985)

After discovering The Goonies, what child has never wanted to be part of this troop of kids embarked on an extraordinary treasure hunt to save the house that serves as their HQ? Written and produced by Chris Columbus and Steven spielberg, this cult adventure comedy released in 1985 has not aged a bit. Funny, full of energy and twists and turns, the film, of a crazy inventiveness and generosity, is always so easy to enjoy. With The Goonies, we laugh, we shiver and, stars in our eyes, we quickly realize how much we have one of the best entertainment there is. Mickey, Brandon, Data, Choco, Cinoque and the others, we love you!
