No, this is not the 1984 film with Kevin Bacon but the remake released in 2011 with Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid, which starts from the same premise: the hero arrives in a city and comes up against the moral conceptions of the community which prohibits its inhabitants from dancing. The soundtrack of this musical is resolutely country, with the resumption of the flagship title Footloose by Kenny Loggins by Blake Shelton. What make you want to put on your cowboy boots, cowboy hat, and take a few dance steps in your living room following the choreographies of the film. The final scene in the barn is full of winks at the first Footloose.
