France 3 is broadcasting tonight from 9:05 pm “Meurtres en Berry”, a new opus from the successful collection of the channel which this time features Aurélien Wiik and Fauve Hautot. Was the French press seduced by this TV movie?
What is it about ?
Chanteloube wood. The body of Antoine Noiret, eminent professor of oncology, is found in the Devil’s Pond. Ritual signs found suggest that the victim was sacrificed for a Sabbath, a witchcraft ceremony. Real human sacrifice or the tragic outburst of a cultural event organized by local artists? For Basile Tissier, a police officer in Bourges sent on the investigation as an observer, the investigations begin in the heart of the Berry countryside, that of his childhood and that he fled. A campaign where the rational competes with the irrational of magnetizers and wizards, and where George Sand has left his mark permanently. Fortunately, he can count on the help and clairvoyance of Solène Durel, a country doctor, who knows the locals very well but also… the victim.
Murders in Berry directed by Floriane Crépin and written by Natascha Cucheval and Iris Ducorps.
