Lea leaves the family home
Without taking any tweezers, Babeth makes Léa understand that she should leave the nest so that she can get back her room for her baby. Although Patrick takes his defense, Léa is terribly injured and decides to leave to live with Jean-Paul. The latter welcomes her with open arms, while Lucie imposes certain conditions on him.
Meanwhile, Babeth expresses her relief at no longer having her spoiled rotten daughter in her paws. Patrick reproaches him for his bad faith. Babeth later admits that she has taken it out on Lea unfairly when the real problem is her anxiety about her pregnancy. Patrick admits to sharing his apprehensions but promises to support her.
