Destabilized by his daughter’s words, Jean-Paul complains to Abdel. The latter suggests that he may have taken the wrong track to find Samia. But Jean-Paul continues to follow his instincts. He instructs his municipal police teams to deal with the broken surveillance cameras in the eastern sector. Meanwhile, at the town hall, Léa gets angry with a woman who has come to ask her that Lougane take a position against the coronavirus vaccine.
Later, Jean-Paul goes to Macher’s place and hears him bragging with one of his colleagues about not having followed his orders. When they leave, Jean-Paul takes the opportunity to enter Macher’s place. While searching the home, Jean-Paul receives a call from Lucie, who apologizes for yelling at him. Hanging up, Jean-Paul comes across a bag containing an earring – exactly the same as the one that the forensic scientists had found in the parking lot where Samia’s trace was lost …
