The Lieutenant takes the opportunity to burst the abscess with the superintendent. She apologizes for leaving like a thief after their night together, explaining that she drank too much and it won’t happen again. Mathieu takes it with humor. He suspects her of being troubled by what happened between them.
On site, Ariane and Mathieu question the owner of a grocery store. Thanks to the commissioner, he agrees to give them the CCTV footage from his camera. Back at the police station, Ariane and Mathieu look at the images. They see Lucas there on the phone, before he disappears in a van. Ariane manages to raise the license plate.
Meanwhile, Camille asks Emma a favor: to question Kevin to find out if he has someone in his life and if he still thinks of her. Camille promises her sister to move on if that’s the case for him. During the dinner that Emma organized with Baptiste, Kevin admits that he can’t forget Émilie. He considers her the woman of his life. When he asks Emma for advice, she suggests that he do everything to win her back…
Gérard and Kévin get drunk
Gérard tries to make amends with Carmen with a bouquet of flowers. He assures her that her feelings have always been sincere. But she doesn’t want to hear anything. Back at his sister’s, Gérard is completely depressed. Kevin, who doesn’t work all day, takes it upon himself to comfort his uncle.
They are going to have lunch together. Around a bottle of wine, Gérard and Kévin complain about their previous relationship marred by lies. Drunk, they walk around Marseille, where they endure homophobic insults from a young man. Tone up. The individual spits on Kevin, who loses his cool and knocks him out with a punch. He immediately regrets his action and asks Gérard to call the fire brigade.
Éric goes there and gives Kevin a breathalyzer. It’s over a gram. Kevin then learns that the young man he assaulted is none other than the son of the director of the cabinet of the prefect of police.
Gabriel makes an effort
Anticipating his next appointment with the council of the order, Gabriel lists his strengths and weaknesses as a stretcher-bearer. He thus identifies that he still has to make efforts to listen to patients.
So he asks Thomas for advice. As a waiter, the latter is used to listening to his customers so that they are satisfied and return to his establishment. Thomas sets an example for her husband.
Gabriel tries to apply what he learned with one of his patients. But she notices that he doesn’t listen to her attentively enough. Gabriel pulls himself together. Cédric notices that he doesn’t even try to argue with the doctor who claims the merits of the patient’s healing in reality due to Gabriel.
Cédric and Gabriel then take the patient home. In front of the door, she realizes that she forgot her keys. But Gabriel, who has listened to him speak before, knows that his keys are simply hidden under a flowerpot.
