Vincent Marceau does not tell the truth
Vincent Marceau introduces himself to Abdel as Elisa’s father. He claims not to be involved in the murder case. As proof of his good faith, he gives his card to Abdel, promising to be at his disposal.
The next day, Abdel and Elisa meet in the judge’s office. Mr Burgeaud finally decides to speak: he says that he stayed up late with Nikolaï one night during the end of the construction site. The latter fell from a scaffolding without railing and died on the spot. As he was illegal, Mr Burgeaud feared that the police would open an investigation. He therefore hurried to pour a slab to hide the corpse. He says he didn’t tell anyone else. On the other hand, he denies having tried to run over Tim with a truck. Following these confessions, the judge decides to indict Mr. Burgeaud for hiding a corpse.
Leaving the judge’s office, Elisa thanks Abdel for his help and support. She feels that it’s still a little early to be in a relationship of seduction with him again, which Abdel respects.
Back at the Mistral, Abdel announces to Tim and Barbara that the investigation has determined that it is an accident and not a murder. However, Barbara’s boyfriend remains convinced that Vincent is hiding something. And he is not wrong, because at the same time Vincent receives a phone call, during which he asks his interlocutor to ensure that the Burgeaud family lacks nothing. Before hanging up, he also asks that his interlocutor no longer use his sites to get rid of someone…
