It is a familiar figure of Plus belle la vie qui est extinct. Actor Eric Vastine, who appeared regularly in the credits of the series for a decade as a plainclothes cop, died on August 31 at the age of 54. The reasons for the death have not been communicated.
Jérôme Bertin, who plays the character of Patrick Nebout in the Marseille soap opera, paid tribute to the late actor on social networks. “It is one of the silhouettes that all fans of Plus belle la vie know”, he says. “For us, he is a soft, calm voice, a benevolent look and smile, and above all a discreet and always classy friend, a real father who goes away.”
In addition to his regular presence in Plus belle la vie, Eric Vastine had played in other popular television programs. The one who played a teacher in Plan B was notably illustrated in Tomorrow belongs to us, Camping Paradis or Léo Matteï, Minors’ Brigade.
