The jury of the 60th edition of the Monte Carlo Television Festival awarded this year two productions that celebrate homosexuality and self-acceptance: It’s a Sin and Uncle Frank.

The Monte Carlo Television Festival was held this year under special conditions. But the fans and the stars nevertheless responded to the event. After several days of meetings and screenings, it ended this evening with the award ceremony, by the jury made up this year in particular by Arnaud Ducret and JoeyStarr.

The jurors rewarded It’s a Sin and Uncle Frank, two productions which have in common to feature homosexual characters. The first, visible on Canal +, follows a group of London friends within the gay community, affected by the AIDS virus. Uncle Frank, to be discovered exclusively on Prime Video, is a family drama that tells the story of a renowned professor of literature, who sees his homosexuality come to light.
