Marvel: seasons 2 already planned for some disney + series?

While the Disney + Marvel series were sold as one-season one-shot, Kevin Feige today lets it be known that some of them may have more.

WandaVision opened hostilities earlier this year by becoming the first Disney + Marvel series to air on the streaming platform. It will then be followed by Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and many other programs derived from the MCU. While the American firm had sold them as “one shot”, that is to say series of one season only, the president of Marvel Studio Kevin Feige qualified these remarks during a panel relayed by Variety : “We develop these series as we develop our films. In other words, when we produce a movie, we hope to have a part 2, a part 3. […] The good thing about the MCU is that you can crossover between shows and movies. […] Sometimes there will be a season 2, sometimes it will be extended into a movie, before going back to the series format. […] We haven’t announced anything yet but we are considering making a second season for upcoming series.

If we do not yet know which productions it is exactly (Ms. Marvel ?, She-Hulk? Moon Knight?), It is certain that it will not be WandaVision, whose airing will end on March 5. The series worn by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, will not have season 2, confirms Kevin Feige to the chagrin of fans. But we will find the Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange 2 in the Multiverse of Madness expected in 2022 and probably in Spider-Man 3 if we are to believe the latest rumors. The WandaVision series has in any case paved the way for phase 4, with the emergence of parallel universes by showing the Quicksilver of the X-Men saga (Evan Peters) in place of Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
