Marvel: Kang even badder than Thanos according to the director of Ant-Man 3

When interviewed at San Diego Comic-Con, Paul Rudd and director Peyton Reed say ‘Ant-man 3’ will explore uncharted territory and Kang will be Marvel’s biggest villain.

Third part of the adventures of Ant-Man, Quantumania is revealed a little more thanks to the various interviews of the film team carried out during the Comic-Con of San Diego, last weekend.

Kevin Feigethe President of Marvel Studios, assures the microphone of MTV News than Ant-Man and the Wasp. : Quantumania will be a great team film like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Most of our movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Ant-Man 3 are great team-up movies that introduce whole swaths of Marvel mythology. While the Avengers movies really should be the crowning glory of a saga.

That’s really what we wanted to do today to lay the groundwork, and say, “We’re currently in the middle of the Multiverse saga that will culminate in two Avengers movies.”

The movie of Sam Raimi continued the arc of the first Doctor Strange in the MCU and further explored the concept of the multiverse – which, while integral toAvengers: Endgamehad never been fully addressed in the Infinity Saga, which spans from Phase 1 to Phase 3.

Doctor Strange 2 is considered a team-up film, as it features Stephen Strange, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), America Chávez (Xochitl Gomez), Wong (Benedict Wong), Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and the Illuminati.

The Avengers movies are the highlights

The Marvel Studios boss explains here that character-focused movies lay the groundwork for the Avengers movies that are the culmination of different phases of the MCU.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania will kick off Phase 5, which will conclude with Thunderbolts in July 2024 while phase 6 entitled The Saga of the Multiverse, will begin with The Fantastic Four and will conclude with 2 films Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (the villain introduced in Ant-Man 3 and played by Jonathan Majors) and Secret Wars.

It’s cool. All of this history has cultural significance, so being a part of it is truly humbling. I just want to get to work, read the script, memorize my lines and practice. Doing all those things that I wanted to do when I was a little boy living in Texas.
