While the eighth and last episode of The Mandalorian season 1 will air on Friday May 1 on Disney +, the platform has just announced that an 8-part documentary series will be available from the following Monday, during Star Wars Day.
Indeed, as of May 4 (at the rate of one episode per week every Friday), Disney The Making-of: The Mandalorian will return to the behind the scenes of the production led by Jon Favreau, and should reveal some crisp secrets of filming on this first season, while waiting to discover the second.
These 8 documentary episodes should notably contain interviews, new sequences and round tables with the different members of the filming team. In a press release, showrunner Jon Favreau said:
“Disney The Making-of: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the series to discover it from the inside and have a different perspective, perhaps even to have a better understanding of it. An opportunity to understand how The Mandalorian was created and discover some of the talented contributors associated with this season 1. We had a great experience and we look forward to sharing it with you. “
